My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

The place totally exceeded our expectations for the price. Clean nice room with big bed, extra warm blankets. Fantastic bathroom with new plumbing, fully functional heater and shower cabin. Royal Majesty Bungalow offers accommodation in Norwood. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Meals were excellent. They have a great chef for Indian and Sri Lankan cooking. We decided to eat all our meals in the bungalow for the great local cooking rather than go into nearby towns for probably disappointing meals. The service was great and Murali, the manager on site, has lovely energy and was always ready to help, give suggestions, and share information. We enjoyed taking short trips and also walking on the tea estate trails. We felt very safe throughout the time. You have to love old-fashioned charm like we do. Don't expect modern boutique facilities! We hope they don't try to modernize because otherwise they will lose the charm. It's all just right, and we would definitely go there again.

What an amazing experience!!! This is a wonderful place that takes you back in time. The garden, the good and mostly the people working there are amazing! We stayed 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. This place is idéal for totally disconect and enjoy the wonderful nature that is all around. Thanks to all the wonderful peuple that makes this place a great experience. We Will definitely come back.

Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into an old movie full of authenticity and elegance. The atmosphere was both luxurious and comfortable, with quick and friendly service all around. We were a group of different ages, even with teenagers, and everyone loved it—some of us didn’t even want to leave the hotel! I stayed at the Owner’s Cottage, and the room, the view, and all the details were simply amazing. The manager, Mr. Krishantha, was extremely kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Our stay included breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, so we barely had to spend anything extra. All of the staff were more than wonderful. This will definitely not be our last visit!
