The apartment is very spacious, clean and close to the bus stop and railway station. The owner is super nice and helpful. The view from the balcony is beautiful! I would recommend to stay here.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 1.1 km from Gregory Lake and 7.4 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Absolutely clean and cozy homestay owned by a nice family with the cutest baby, one of the best places I have stayed at in Sri Lanka! Nuwara Eliya is very cold but they provide extra warm blankets, the hot water and hair dryer made it a bit easier to bear the cold and heaters are available for an extra fee. It is a bit far from centrum by walking but you can rent a scooter from the owners for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. This is an hidden gem . The host is charming the rooms bed and facilities are by far the best equivalent to uk 5 star it cannot be faulted. The view is to die for the food we had dinner & breakfast was outstanding 10 out of 10 for everything . I would 100% recommend this hotel you will not be disappointed.

Even though Nuwara Eliya was cold and raining, I got 2 blankets to use. While I arrived, they provided welcoming hot tea. And the breakfast the next day was really good with various options. And the host even waited with me for the bus going to the train station. The location is between the post office and the lake Gregory, which were within walking distance for 30 mins to each of them. It was a good stop in the town.

Situated in Nuwara Eliya, 8.3 km from Gregory Lake, Amansara Bungalow features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The bungalow was beautiful and spacious with clean rooms. But what made this stay unforgettable for me is the warmth of the staff. Guna and Nana took care of us like family. They cooked us hearty and delicious meals taking into consideration our preferences and restrictions. They are the sweetest hosts I've met. I would visit the place again despite the roads if I travel to Srilanka again. 10/10 just for the hosts :)

Royal Majesty Bungalow offers accommodation in Norwood. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Meals were excellent. They have a great chef for Indian and Sri Lankan cooking. We decided to eat all our meals in the bungalow for the great local cooking rather than go into nearby towns for probably disappointing meals. The service was great and Murali, the manager on site, has lovely energy and was always ready to help, give suggestions, and share information. We enjoyed taking short trips and also walking on the tea estate trails. We felt very safe throughout the time. You have to love old-fashioned charm like we do. Don't expect modern boutique facilities! We hope they don't try to modernize because otherwise they will lose the charm. It's all just right, and we would definitely go there again.

We stayed at Scottish Planter – Glendevon Bungalow from April 22–24, 2025, and it was truly one of a kind. Nestled in the tranquil hills of Ragala, this heritage bungalow dating back to 1880 welcomed us with warmth, serenity, and unmatched hospitality. After a long 16-hour journey with my infant son, wife, and mother, we arrived at 10:30 PM — yet everything was perfectly arranged for us, thanks to Manusanka, the ever-gracious property manager. From coordinating a pick-up van for the 1.2 km off-road trail to ensuring we had everything we needed upon arrival, his care made us feel right at home. The bungalow itself is a living piece of history — impeccably maintained, tastefully appointed, and surrounded by lush greenery, landscaped gardens, and the peaceful sounds of nature. The set-course meals were absolutely delicious — every dish was prepared with love and left us wanting more. A special thank you to Kapila, who attended to us throughout our stay with kindness and attentiveness. Whether it was adjusting breakfast to suit our preferences or ensuring we had everything we needed, he truly made a difference. This is a remote getaway, and that’s exactly its charm. Birdsong by day, starry skies by night, and the pure stillness of nature all around — it’s a place to disconnect and truly rejuvenate.
