I loved my stay here! The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, located in a quiet area of forest away (but not too far) from the business of Bukit Lawang centre. There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. Located in Bukit Lawang, Sawah Resto Bungalow & Jungle Trekking features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Our stay here was amazing! The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, bathroom also nice and everything is clean. Also the room has a big balcony with incredible view. The staff was also great, we arranged everything we needed through them and it was not a problem. We also booked a one day jungle trek with them and it was excellent. Our guide Dani and his brother were good guides and also very nice people.

We had a great time staying with Nino and his mother Imo. Both were really kind and very interested in making our stay pleasant. Nino also showed us all the hidden gems in the area and cooked some really nice meals for us. The room was spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed. The view from upstairs is amazing.
