Everything about this house was amazing! the house, the garden, the pool , the service! Amilani was a great host accommodating all our needs. Breakfast was exceptional, freshly prepared at the house. Pictures don't do this place enough justice. The only thing to consider is that the distance to Galle is about 20-25 minutes.

Nestled in the heart of the historic and UNESCO-listed Dutch Fort, our 17th-century bungalow is a portal to a bygone era, yet brimming with modern comforts.

Such a gem of a hotel! The interiors were gorgeous; the restaurant served great food in an ambient setting; the location was perfect, and above all Ismail and his team were nothing short of exceptional hosts.

Mohamed, Asanka and the team looked after us wonderfully from arrival to departure: Mohamed even organised a taxi for us to our next destination. Breakfasts were carefully served and a real pleasure; we especially enjoyed the fruit platters, the Sri Lankan egg hoppers, pancakes and the tomato curry. The hotel itself is a delightful place to be: we were very pleased with the outdoor sitting area with a sofa and a ceiling fan. Our room had excellent air conditioning and a large modern bathroom and was kept in immaculate condition by the housekeeping staff as was the lovely central courtyard. The location is, as others have mentioned, really convenient for seeing Galle and enjoying the sunset walks on the ramparts.

Very homely stay. Friendly and caring family, all the time offering tea. You can also eat with them or do laundry. It's in a very peaceful location surrounded by nature. The house is very beautiful and antique, I really enjoyed staying in it. Beach is 5min walk.

Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

The villa very close to the Welligama beach (walking Distance)which is ideal if you want to have some drinks/food with some breeze looking at surfers or book some surfing lessons There are also a number of food out lets. Most importantly, the staff make you feel very welcome. Not only do they provide good service (what you expect from a Villa), but they are also observant and friendly. Even though we went as a couple, I think this Villa is well worth for Families, friends or solo travelers because of the friendly staff and the beautiful location. The Breakfast was amazing my stay. The rooms were clean, Small but comfortable. The entire property felt well maintained. The Pool is cleaned frequently and nice. We definitely will return to this great Villa.

We loved staying here. The staff was very helpful and did the best to solve any kind of problems we had. The room was big enough. Beds are comfy, and the area is perfect because it's located a bit outside of the centre and it is very quiet. The hotel is located 2 minutes walking distance from the beach and in front of it there is a blissful Buddhist temple where you can get high vibe.
