We also enjoyed both breakfast and dinner (the latter may be booked separately on-site) and spent exceptional evenings with our hosts. We‘re definitely planning to return to Latjeskloof once we‘re back in South Africa.

Mountain View Guesthouse might be the best guesthouse I’ve stayed in. It’s located very close to the N7, petrol stations, supermarket, restaurants, and Costa coffee shop. A lovely warm welcome from Roché. He has thought of everything. A beautiful, immaculately clean room, full kitchen facilities with comprehensive dishes and utensils, fridge, microwave, air fryer, coffee pod machine, 2 x multi-head phone chargers. Also a working TV (doesn't always happen in my experience), and secure parking. No breakfast provided but that was expected, and it’s fine for me as I had my own food. And places to eat close by. Modern, luxurious accommodations, beautifully designed gardens and common areas, excellent hospitality from staff, especially the welcome and assistance from Samanta, the guesthouse manager. Very good value for money; I would definitely stay again. Breakfast is more than adequate, and it's great that they have a nice restaurant right on the property. In a safe area, and the property is totally enclosed. Convenient to other activities and restaurants in Clanwilliam.

Adele, the host, was absolutely fantastic, always incredibly kind, helpful, and available for anything we needed. The apartment was spotless and equipped with excellent amenities. We never missed a thing during our stay. P.S. We loved the rooibos jelly and all the little touches she surprised us with throughout our time there – it really made us feel at home. If we return to South Africa, we won’t have any doubts about where to stay – this will be our first choice for sure!
