I’ve stayed at dozens of hostels on six continents and this was one of the very best. The common spaces were huge, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and multifunctional. Amazing industrial-size kitchen. (Great included breakfast, too—don’t miss out on the biscuits!) The dorm rooms were super spacious and the mattresses and pillows were heavenly. Lockers that lock using your room key—no need to bring your own lock. The most luxurious factor was that all the bathrooms were private bathrooms, each one including toilet/sink/shower, and bathrooms were in the hall right outside the dorm rooms, none of the gross “en suite” bathrooms you see at so many hostels that I personally hate. Facilities were spotlessly clean, staff was warm and helpful, and location was fantastic, practically across the street from the French quarter with lots of food and entertainment options within a couple blocks.

Audubon Nature Institute is 11 km away and Rivertown is 21 km from the bed and breakfast. We loved the grounds, quiet and relaxing spots everywhere. Pool and hot tub were amazing. Shout out to Wilson and Carlos for making our stay much more memorable. Catered to our every need and more. They worked extremely hard to keep the place immaculate and working properly. Hats off to the other cleaning staff as well. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if or when we return. Thank you
