Should have stayed for more nights !! Starting from the free shuttle bus from Taichung HSR Station , the friendly and approachable staff ,the huge, modern and clean room overlooking the lake , the room onsen and the hotel onsen and sauna, the restaurant ( Shao Chinese restaurant - the hotel is so kind to provide my daughter the complimentary ‘longevity peach ‘ for desert for her birthday ) and the location which is literally only 2 mins walk to the Ita Shao shopping street where you can grab all sorts of food and things . We love this hotel so much that we are already booking another trip next year to stay for a few nights !

The place is located in a quiet area and we had such a great sleep. The breakfast was from outside - was ok (if I am not mistaken it was soy milk and Chinese donut). Parking was available. If you get the room with the balcony, you can enjoy the view while having breakfast. Peaceful and lovely. About 20-30 mins drive to Sun Moon Lake. I’d recommend this place if you are traveling by car.

Complementary afternoon high tea and mini bar and breakfast were great too. We had the tree house and it was really big, and the bathtub was amazing. All was great except for the slide and bugs.

The property features quiet street views. We loved the size, cleanliness of the rooms and most of all, the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They went out of their way to let us use the washing machine, prepared extra pudding for my child and were just very welcoming. We loved the view from one of the rooms, even though fog covered the mountains for most of our trip. The breakfast was delicious and very nutritious too! Oh and please try the plum wine and dinner - excellent stuff
