Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. A warm welcome by the receptionist who showed us round this beautifully restored farmhouse. Our room was immaculately clean & had everything you would need. We made use of the comfortable lounge & the free tea & coffee on offer. The tables at breakfast were beautifully laid with baskets of bread & plenty of options on offer at the buffet table. We absolutely loved staying here & wished we had booked more than one night.

- Offering a natural setting in Ribeira de Pena, a 30 minute-drive from Guimarães and Vila Real, Pena Park Hotel features an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, a spa and a wellness centre. The staff was very nice. The spa conditions and pools were great.

Santa Apolónia is located halfway between historical Bragança and the IP4 motorway. It offers quiet accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception and free on-site private parking. My husband and I would like to thank hotel Santa Apolonia so very much for all their help with arranging two taxis to take us and our bicycles to Rabano de Aliste, Spain, 50k away, to enable us to continue our trip.
