I was nervous about the small size of the room before we arrived, but one we saw how it was designed and organized, we found it to be perfect for our needs. Property was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and at a breathtaking location.

Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. Wonderful location! Just 2 blocks inland from the waterfront, we could be to the main attractions in 5 minutes. We didn’t rent a car, so a hotel in easy walking distance was fantastic. The hotel is very nice. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was a nice perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our inquiries.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Teresa is the best host we ever had, she was sweet and very welcoming. Breakfast she made was excellent, fresh scrambled eggs and french toast. We also tried her tasty homemade jam. The view of the ocean from the property is amazing. Room was clean and nice with a large balcony. Can’t wait to come back for more days.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Beautiful B&B! The staff were welcoming and helpful, the garden is spectacular and breakfast was great!
