Ideally situated in Funchal, TURIM Santa Maria Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. Among the various facilities are an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, as well as a terrace. Guests can enjoy Portuguese dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar. Fabulous hotel 10 mins from the port. Large hotel with large rooms/bathrooms and great sea views. Check in was a breeze, extremely polite and helpful reception staff, very happy to share their knowledge and experiences. They have a great rooftop bar by the pool (too cold to swim when I was here), but I did go to the rooftop bar several times. Staff was amazing, made great drinks (try the Poncha!) and always made me feel welcome. Breakfast was phenomenal, huge breakfast room with hot, cold, veggies, local fruits. Competent and polite staff...always very clean, delicious!! Highly recommend this hotel!! 10 stars!

Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A balcony or patio are featured in certain rooms. Every room includes a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Everything about the Sao Francisco accommodation was excellent. Starting with the communication with the manager, then the location itself, which is fantastic, the room is clean, nicely furnished, everything is as described. The breakfast is good. Everything you need is on the menu, whether you like cereals, sweet or savoury breakfast, fruit salad, juices, cakes... The woman who serves breakfast is very friendly and takes great care to ensure everything is in order. The manager Sonia is very helpful to make your stay in Funchal perfect. We can only say the best for the manager Sonia and Sao Francisco accomodation.

The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes.

Boasting the most hours of sunshine in Madeira, Ponta Do Sol village is just minutes from the hotel and can be reached with free bikes. Perfect location, perfect service, perfect food:) This place was worth every cent (or penny, depends on your currency of choice). I'm so happy I didn't decide to stay in Funchal or any other hotel closer to the airport. This place had a soul.

Casa Da Piedade’s rooms feature wood furniture, as well as a TV and telephone. Each private bathroom includes a walk-in shower. the hotel is magnificent, the rooms, the views, the decoration inside the house. The swimming pool and outside garden space. Great breakfast and wonderful staff. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to everybody visiting Madeira.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. It offers 3 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, a Spa and a sun deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gardens. Awsome breakfast and service personals were very nice.
