Perfect location. On top of the hill with stunning view to the valley. Front wall is made of glass so you enjoy the view all day long.

Offering city views, O Cantinho do Colégio - Dourocollege is an accommodation set in Lamego, 15 km from Douro Museum and 34 km from Natur Waterpark. We just stayed for one night as we were passing through and attending festivities in nearby villages, but we could have easily have stayed for longer. Very central to everything. Really clean and modern. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy bed. Perfect and really good value for such luxury. There is also a surprise chapel on the second floor. Bonus! Thumbs up from us.

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Original Douro Hotel is set in Peso da Régua, 400 metres from Douro Museum. This is a beautifully restored hotel that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is just delightful on the interior. The owner-manager spent literally years carefully and thoroughly renovating this nearly 150 year old building, carefully preserving many old architectural elements that provide a truly charming atmosphere. The result is stunning! Also the breakfast buffet was amazing with such a wide array of delicious choices. Our stay here was well worth the slightly higher rate. The front desk staff turned out to be the owner and she was so helpful in directing us in exploring an old, nearby town that suited our interests perfectly.

Imaginário d'El Rei sijaitsee Mesão Friossa 35 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Lamegosta. Majoituspaikassa on kauden mukaan avoinna oleva ulkouima-allas ja aurinkoterassi. Henkilökunta oli loistava ja ystävällinen ja avulias. Kotoisa tunnelma. Näkymä ja puutarha oli huikea.

Daniel at the reception was very responsive to emails prior to our arrival. He would immediately respond and truly went above and beyond! The entire staff at the hotel was superb! We had an incredible experience and treated us like royalty. Highly recommend.

Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. Gorgeous view of the river. Staff was really nice and attentive.

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. An incredible property. We were just driving through so we only stayed one night, but I would love to return for longer. I think it would make a great base to explore the Douro. The room was spacious and simple. Great linens, lovely bath products. The pool is stunning with a view of the valley. Big, well-appointed fitness center. Gorgeous spa (that I didn't have time to use, sadly.) Fantastic restaurant-- we enjoyed dinner and breakfast, and both were quite good.

Casa Tawny is located in Pinhão, 19 km from Natur Waterpark, 26 km from Douro Museum, as well as 36 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. Excellent location, and beautifully decorated, intended by wonderful people.
