Octant Évora delivered a true 5-star experience from the moment we parked until we left. The hospitality stood out right away, every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast buffet, and every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and rooted in Alentejo's traditions. Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

Fantastic hostel, very modern facilities (multifunctional shower; chargers, lights, and phone stands on every bed; comfortable and clean beds with curtains for privacy). The common area and kitchen were very homely and clean, with cold water and ice dispenser. I especially liked that I could do my laundry for free (washing machine and dryer) . The hosts do the most to make you feel welcome and to create a very homely environment, offering great recommendations and good conversation. By far one of the nicest hostels I have stayed at.

With a contemporary, minimalist décor, the 4-star Évora Olive Hotel offers accommodation in the heart of Évora and features free WiFi throughout. The room was clinically looking but very cool and comfortable for the hot days we had in Évora.
