Octant Évora delivered a true 5-star experience from the moment we parked until we left. The hospitality stood out right away, every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast buffet, and every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and rooted in Alentejo's traditions. Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

Great location, within the city walls (in walking distance from the cathedral) but close to the area where you may park the car without paying, just outside the city walls. Large rooms, very clean bathrooms, great common rooms, with a large kitchen and a big common table. The staff was very helpful and nice. A great place to stay.

My husband and I booked last minute. The night prior we had stayed in a four star hotel by the beach and we were much happier at Azul then the fancy hotel. Azul was cleaner, more modern and more comfortable. The location is perfect and the breakfast was great. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Diogo, Ms Khaleesi and their three little dragons offer probably the warmest home-away-from-home experience one can possibly wish for. From his first "Welcome home!" as I had stepped through the door, Diogo made sure I felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my extended stay. Aside from the attentive hosts, nothing beats the unlimited washer-drier availability, with separate shoe drier gadget and a mud cleaner available in case you get caught by a storm along the hike. A warm fireplace and additional blankets take care of the winter chill, not to mention a complimentary cup of local wine, hot tub showers, and a fully equipped kitchen. I could not recommend this place more.

With a contemporary, minimalist décor, the 4-star Évora Olive Hotel offers accommodation in the heart of Évora and features free WiFi throughout. The room was clinically looking but very cool and comfortable for the hot days we had in Évora.
