Renovated property located in the heart of Monsaraz. Although located in the center of the tourist zone, it was quiet at night for rest and comfort. Dona Esmeralda greeted us at the check in. Our room was with a lovely view of the valley/mountain by gorgeous lemon tree full of lemons. It was private, separate from the rest of the building. The entire property was well maintained, spotless, and charming.

We didn’t expect much, but it was such a pleasure to stay here! Everything was exceptional! The warm welcome, the great location with lots of things to do at, kids friendly and client-oriented! Really nice breakfast buffet. The room was also great, with all the facilities needed, spacious and clean! We highly recommend this place!

The owner is a great guy and the history of the building is amazing. It was owned by his grandmother and he has made it a welcoming space for travellers in her name. There is a generosity felt within the welcome of the space itself and noted with the free gifts, a glass of wine, a coffee, ice dispenser, free washing machine and tumble dryer. Wonderful map of The Fisherman's Walk, great selection of books and letters displayed from guests. Everything was very clean.
