Situated in Szczawnica, 20 km from Niedzica Castle, Hotel Maria & Spa features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel was very fancy. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. I especially appreciate their understanding, since I asked for the extra bottle of wine and happy birthday sign, as well as the extra surprise of how I "smuggled" the birthday candle and gave it to the kitchen staff.

Everything was fantastic! If I could, I would rate it a 12 out of 10. A clean, modern, bright, well appointed room. It had a comfy couch, dining table and chairs and a perfect little kitchenette. The real espresso/cappachino machine with fresh beans was a welcome and enjoyable surprise. Well laid out apartment with a nice big terrace and chairs. Separate bedroom with a comfy bed and super quiet, with electric roll-down black out blinds. The facility amenities were really cool: a salt cave to relax in, a billiards room and a well stocked children's play room as well as an outdoor play area. We don't have kids, but if you do this would be a very, very good place to stay 😄 I was sad to leave as this was, by far, the best apartment that we have stayed in during our European travels - and very reasonablly priced for all that the facility includes.
