My experience with fine hotels has been at conventions. I expect the restaurant to be fair, but overpriced. The Ciudad de David exceeded all my expectations in every way. The menu allowed a variety of tastes and prices. I eat small meals and most menus can't fit this limitation. Not only did I find fair prices, moderate quantities of food, and excellent tasting dishes, the serving staff was attentive and kind.

The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place.
