The 12-year-old called it "awesome" and said he wanted to live there forever). Two large bedrooms each with a huge ensuite, big well-equipped kitchen and convenient in-chalet laundry. Amazing outlook from large windows in all the rooms. Thoughtfully furnished. Lovely gardens and expansive balconies. A pool house which we didn't use, but good advice from the hosts on the best hot baths in town. Really helpful communication from the hosts, timely and upbeat, nothing too much trouble.

She let us do our laundry for free, moved cars around when we struggled to back out, and offered recommendations for the city. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone I know. Nanette is so sweet and kind, it's truly like staying with family.

Our family spent two wonderful days there, and despite the not-so-great weather in Taupo, the farm was still incredibly beautiful even on gloomy days. The three little puppies were absolutely adorable and added so much joy to our visit. The apartment was tastefully decorated, and the bedding was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We also had the pleasure of visiting Michelle's pottery studio and came home with four lovely cups. A huge thank you to Michelle for the thoughtful gift; it truly made our experience even more special. Overall, it was a delightful getaway, and we can't recommend it highly enough!
