I appreciated the ease of communication through WhatsApp, sending check-in instructions the day before and being available anytime during the stay if we had questions.

I originally booked the room with the shared bathroom (it was always clean and only shared with one other room). Due to becoming ill I asked if I could switch to a room with a private bathroom and pay the extra, this was arranged very quickly and the team even offered to get me medicine if i needed it. The real standout is the staff. Every one of them was incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to make sure guests feel at home. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience, and it’s a big reason why I’d return to this hostel the next time I visit Penang.
