Very clean room, very comfortable bed, and a beautiful view! The ride to the hotel was an adventure in itself; it's amazing what tuktuk drivers can do. The free tuktuk service to and from the city center was so nice. The only thing that bothered us was some loud work/noise outside beginning around 7am in the morning. Depart from that it was really quiet, and all we could hear was just nature! We can recommend this hotel to everyone, we really enjoyed our stay :)

You are always in touch with the daughter, who patiently answers every question and helps organize anything you might need. The breakfast is local, large, filling, and very tasty. The property is currently being expanded, and more rooms will be available in the future, but for now, there is just one. However, it definitely has great potential, and it’s a must-visit to experience the local atmosphere and meet incredibly kind, friendly, and smiling people. I highly recommend it!

The family that runs Wood Palace is amazing and has been great in accommodating us with anything we needed during our stay, first making arrangements for me as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and later whilst our son got sick. The amazing starry nights from the balcony and fireflies lighting up the view topped it off. It’s located a little outside of Ella (5min drive) which made it very peaceful and quiet. The owner has a TukTuk and can bring you anywhere you need very quickly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a very memorable stay

A junglalow with a view of waterfall, the jungle sounds immersed in nature. The room is private, super clean and the design of the space is just perfect 🤩 it is a 10 out of 10!!! Saman and her husband were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was awesome… we are vegan and they were very accommodating. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! 🙏❤️
