Ideally set in the Edinburgh City Centre district of Edinburgh, The Resident Edinburgh is situated 1 km from Edinburgh International Conference Centre, 1.6 km from Royal Mile and 1.5 km from Camera... Sijainti oli täydellinen, esim. juna-asemalle, vanhaan kaupunkiin ja Stockbridgeen oli kävelymatka ja itse hotellin ympäristö oli rauhallinen. Ratikka ja bussit kulkivat vierestä. Hotellihuone oli erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä, tarkkaan suunniteltu ja käytännöllinen hotellivieraan mukavuuden takaamiseksi: 16 neliöön oli mahdutettu kaikki tarpeellinen eikä huone tuntunut pieneltä, vaikka viivyimme 6 yötä. Minikeittiö ja jääkaappi olivat erittäin kätevät, kun hotellissa ei ollut tarjolla aamiaista. Sen sijaan tarjolla olisi päivittäin ollut vieraille yhteiset alkuillan drinkit, jonne me emme kyllä valitettavasti kertaakaan ehtineet. Se jäi vähän harmittamaan, sillä olisi ollut hauska osallistua. Idea tuntui kivalta ja omaperäiseltä. Matkamme liittyi juhlapäivään ja hotelli muisti meitä ihanalla lahjalla, mikä tuntui hienolta. Henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä ja avuliasta.

The location was excellent, the view was beautiful, the room was spacious, well equipped, modern and very clean. The reception staff were very friendly and we were also very impressed with the coffee/pastries available from reception in the morning with the added bonus of items like drinks/food etc for sale.
