The apartment was cleaned every two days and I never found it to be intrusive. With a little one running around having a kitchen was a godsend.

The modern apartments have been converted from a whisky-bond building and come fully equipped with a kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. We absolutely loved our stay at The Malt House! The location is perfect, not far from the main road where you can catch a bus or tram down to the main attractions. The place was spotless and well-equiped, super comfortable for our family of 4. Would absolutely stay here again when in Edinburgh!

Named after Alexander Scott, the esteemed original owner of the magnificent baronial house erected in the 1750s, our hotel echoes history combined with the elegance of today. A wonderful hotel with excellent friendly staff. The location, for us, was perfect! A 20-minute walk to the city center. But if you don’t like walking, there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself was great, beautifully decorated. We will definitely come back.
