This was a last-minute booking whilst on our road trip, and I am so happy to have stumbled upon it! A gorgeous location and the hotel is very charming. We stayed in a ground floor suite, which had patio doors that opened up onto the river bank. Dinner was delicious, and our breakfast was yummy too.

The lovely little pods were a calming and cosy place to stay. The bathrooms are spacious and were kept really clean and warm, so was the Snug cottage. You have to be prepared to walk outside your little hut whenever you need something so some easy to put on shoes are a good idea. The owners are really nice and helpful whenever you need something. You can really see the care and thought they put it the accommodation. Overall it was an incredibly good value for the money and we would 100% recommend it.

Last year, I said I'd stay here again if I were in Aberdeen again. That's exactly what I did, and I'll stay here again next year. Why? The guesthouse is ideally located near the bus/train station and ferry. Check-in was very accommodating, Neil is a friendly host, and the accommodation is comfortable and clean.
