Hosts are wonderful and helpful, secure parking right outside your door and the chalets look brand new and are very comfortable. A convenient stroll to everything in this beautiful town. Breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, but this place is just great and the hosts could not have been more helpful, the communication was excellent and the coffee was the best ever. This small hotel is not only new (opened three years ago) but also perfectly maintained and super clean. Tucked in a quiet and safe corner, in a short walking distance to a shopping mall (2 mins away), taxis and ATMs, the hotel is also close to the city centre, so we even walked downtown (15 mins) and back in the evening. The beds meet the standards of a four-star hotel, so you can sleep comfortably after chilling in bed watching Netflix and resting before climbing Chimborazo.

We felt like home. It's situated really good you can do everything by walking. The Hostel is really beautiful and cozy.

The hostel itself is amazing and one of the nicest I've ever stayed! It looks very recently renovated and is very clean. The beds are super comfortable and the dorms even have 2 bathrooms located within the dorm which is very nice! And hot water 😍 The communal areas also look really nice however I didn't use them. Perfect stay for 1 night to do the Devil's Nose Hike. Or if you are looking for a very quiet and relaxing hostel to unwind for a bit, this is perfect!

We had a medical situation with the altitude and the hotel stuff immediately called an ambulance that helped us a lot as part of their included services. Decorated with wooden gabled roofs, rooms at Chimborazo Lodge offer mountain views. Twin Room have shared bathroom facilities and Double Room with Mountain View has private bathroom. Very warm room, super cozy blankets and beds, everything clean, hot water and the alpacas!!! They sometimes let you touch them but you have to be real slow. The food was very nice, the main room is just so interesting and the view of the mountain is unbeatable. On clear nights you can see the milky way.

Hosteria La Andaluza is a magical museum where you can walk around saying WOW for hours, looking at the antiques, the fabulous decorative architecture, the lovely grounds, and the bar. THE BAR! Oh my goodness, it is so cool. The spa! Just gawking at its beauty is transformative. Chimborazo cleared for us, and we saw every bit of the glaciated 20,400' peak. And did I mention the food? Gourmet, lovely presentation, reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet made it hard not to get absolutely stuffed. What an incredible place.
