The cozy apartment (with kitchen) had everything we needed. The room was very clean with a very nice and large bathroom. The location was very quiet, but in the small town of Ubersee, a short drive to Lake Chiemsee and about a 1 hour drive to Berchtesgaden National park.

The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. She recommended several local things to do. The room was great, everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and filling and friendly. We met a couple who have been coming to the same hotel for 35 years! If that doesn’t tell you that it’s quality… !! The WiFi was excellent and even reached the beautiful outside area, where we sat the whole evening enjoying the fresh air.

Our favourite place we stayed on our entire trip. It's such a beautiful home, and it feels like you're staying with friends. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and want to make sure you have a great trip. The breakfast is exceptional, truly. Easily parked out front every day. The town is lovely and peaceful, but close to the highway for ease of travel. It was a great base for Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, etc.

The rooms are clean and we'll equipped with what you need. There is a small kitchen, very well equipped. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was good. The kids really liked that there closiness to animals - cows, horses, bunnies.

Just 1.4 km from the Chiemsee Lake, this charming family-run hotel in Rimsting offers a garden and an on-site gift shop. Classic-style rooms feature free Wi-Fi. Our two-day stay at Hotel Zu Sonne was fantastic. First of all, Marissa is an outstanding host who organized everything according to the agreement. The rooms were clean, and the payment and invoice process went smoothly. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh items, and Marissa was always there to prepare coffee, juice, or tea – you can really tell she works with love. The apartments are much larger than standard hotel rooms; they are actually small apartments, making the stay even more comfortable. The parking is conveniently located right in front of the property, and the hotel is situated in the small town of Rimsting, where everything is close by and easily accessible. All in all, a great experience, highly recommended!
