We had apartment no 41, it was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the city and the sea.

It's located in a residential area in front of the school, so it's quiet at night. Since we walked from the airport, it was a perfect location for us (on the street into town). Blackout curtains help keep out the morning light. There's a kitchenette with enough utensils to cook a simple meal. An air conditioner worked well and came in handy during a sandstorm.

I loved the location because it was a short walk from the main beach and the restaurants and shops. I loved the front desk reception people, they helped us book activities and were always finding ways to make our stay better! There is also a beautiful and delicious italian restaurant on the property as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We loved staying at Ca GIOgio! Our hosts - Antonio and Geany were very welcoming and helpful! :) apartment was clean, spacious and the location was just perfect! Highly recommend! 🥰❤️

Situated in Espargos and only 3.3 km from  Monte Curral, LAFAYETTE Alojamentos features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This bed and breakfast provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Outdoor seating is also available at the bed and breakfast. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! The hotel is in the center few steps away from the main pedestrian street, few steps away from the beach(s). All the staff is very helpful, kind willing to give you advice if one is needed. Breakfast is good, room was pleasant. I liked it.
