Our cottage was extremely neat, clean, functional and tasteful. The garden is incredibly beautiful! The location is perfect and within walking distance of the town centre. The owners were available and gave us lots of tips about places to eat and attractions in the area. They also brought a lovely bottle of wine for my husband to celebrate his 70th birthday. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Margi is an exceptional host going out of her way to let her guest enjoy their time away . Her guest house is clean, beautifully decorated & comfortable and has gorgeous views. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It is close to the town square and hiking routes. The breakfasts are delicious and her added treat with music on the piano makes for memorable moments.

It was a beautiful place, they provided us with soap,coffee, washing facilities and all the requirements. They have heating to make the cold bearable. My son is crawling so the underground heating in the house really made it better

I stayed at Gentle Presence Cottage in Clarens and absolutely loved it. The views of the Red and Maluti Mountains were breathtaking, and the cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. It was just a short walk from the town square, so exploring the restaurants, shops, and galleries was super convenient. The hosts, Pat and Colin, were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more special. It was the perfect peaceful escape-I'd definitely go back.
