The clerk who take care of check-in was super professional -- really excellent. The housekeeping people were always polite and careful. Lourdes, in particular, really excelled. All personnel was impeccable and highly professional, including people helping at breakfast. Breakfast is included and a lot of fun with the waffle stations. The fitness center is well organized an open 24h. Berkeley downtown BART station just a few steps away.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Very clean room, new furniture. Very comfy bed. No need to explore the room to find an outlet. The bathroom is updated, the towels by the shower! You don't need to be a gymnast to get the towel... The place is very quiet. The room is not big but it has a very clever design.

Nice upper floor of a house in a good location in Oakland. Within walking distance you'll find everything, including the subway station Rockridge with direct trains to San Francisco. We didn't have a car during our stay and it was no problem at all. My wife appreciated the coffee machine a lot and we also liked to have breakfast next to the kitchen in the small room with the table.

    Very clean room, even if the hotel building is not that modern, you can quickly tell that its management cares about guests and maintains everything very well. The location is great, easy parking on property. It's a busy area, but the motel feels safe, with video surveillance system clearly visible. The price is very competitive. We'll definitely stay there again.

    The staff was wonderful and the room was kept very clean. They were so responsive to all of our needs. The location was excellent, so close to many great restaurants, laundromats, convenience stores and it seemed like a real bargain for being in the heart of Berkeley. My husband and I would definitely stay again.
