Greetings from Rodica&Cosmin: We read the very good reviews about the hotel and decided to choose this hotel for our stay in El Nido for 9 days, including the Christmas and New Year's Eve . I was very curious if they were true, and now I can confirm: -From the moment you step into the hotel you feel like you are in a family, all the staff are very dedicated and attentive to make the guests feel good. I would like to especially appreciate the team from the Front Office who always took care of our requests very promptly: booking trips, taxi, recommendations (Hi Val!) - The kitchen is extraordinary, a combination of traditional Filipino dishes with European dishes, all cooked with great taste, perfectly. I would like to personally send greetings to the Chef for the extraordinary New Year's Eve dinner. Also, you should not miss the event every Friday: barbecue dinner. Order with confidence the food from the hotel restaurant and from the bar, very tasty, a very good price-quality ratio, compared to what is found in El Nido (Hi Marvin, brother) - The room is nicely decorated, I received from the hotel natural juices and fresh fruits. Very comfortable bed, every day you wake up with a view of the pool. - Another plus is the location of the hotel, in the newest area of El Nido, very close to the area with restaurants and bars, but without being affected by their noise. -I would like to note the organization of the New Year's Eve event, the dinner was extraordinary, we had a fireworks display from the roof of the hotel, where there is a view over the whole of El Nido. - Many thanks to the hotel manager, Mr. Nilo, for taking care every day that we feel very good and for socializing. - I would say in the end that staying at Funny Lion in El Nido is not just a simple stay but an entire experience that we enjoyed for 9 days.

Had a fantastic stay at Dryft Camp. This place is just WAW. It felt so good to spend some days in this remote place and do a digital detox. The staff is going above and beyond for you. I really loved the yoga and other sport classes with Deborah. The yoga Shala is just a dream! The food and drinks were nice. The room and shared bathrooms were clean.

I had a great room with a private bathroom. The rooms are clean and spacious. There’s a mosquito net over the bed, a fan, power and a place to hang clothes. The rooms are very basic but are comfortable. The meals offered were delicious and good value. There is wifi at the main building. They offer some activities like snorkeling. It’s a great place to get away from it all and relax.

Where do I begin. From the moment we arrived for check in Sandy and Liberty made us feel part of the family. The ease of check in, the unique hut and the relaxing feeling of being home. Breakfasts was amazing and hit the spot so that you could keep on your daily adventures. The scooter that was included makes you feel so free to explore the beautiful El Nido. If you want a tour they even assist you with that and come the time to say bye bye to El Nido that transport can also be arranged. This stay as the highlight of our trip to the Philippines and we will forsure be back to visit Hiraya campsite. One can not go wrong here.
