A lot of care and attention to guest experience- the food hamper was a delight, and things like the herb and cookie jars and their own eggs were lovely touches. It’s very peaceful well off the main road, and I felt very safe as a solo traveller.

Location ... so close to the beach! Very handy having the dairy/takeaway so close. We were en route to begin cycling the A2O bike trail. We didn't want to go into Christchurch as we needed to keep driving to Ōamaru so staying at Waikuku was perfect.

    Lovely and clean cabin with extra blankets and very good heater( it was very cold weather at the time of stay). Toilets very clean. 1 minute walk to the beach which was lovely. Staff & neighbours very nice.

    A great location for breaking up a road trip from further south and getting to a midday ferry. The little shop, and food caravan were an added bonus. Would be amazing for a summer beach holiday.
