Lots of space and very comfy. Having separate living area and bedroom is a big plus for us. The bathroom.is also excellent. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely host very quick to answer questions. The house is warm, dry and cosy. Had dehumidifier in the house. Full kitchen Shower has great pressure. Outdoor area in the back can be enjoyed in warmer days. It was wet and cold on our visit. Close walking distance to Greytown shops. Easy to get to other parts of Wairarapa. Was quite inspite of the closeness to the main road. Good sensor light outside

Our stay here has been absolutely the best we've ever experienced. From the delightful homemade cake to the peaceful ambiance, everything exceeded our expectations. The place is not only incredibly comfortable but also very clean. The bathtub was another highlight—we absolutely loved it. This place truly feels special, and we can't recommend it enough!

What a property! We absolutely adored this Cosy Kowhai Cottage! with the experience complemented by very friendly hosts! To break our journey from Hawkes Bay to Wellington - a stop in Greytown/Martinborough seemed in order. We only wish we had stayed for longer than our sole night. It was such a beautiful part of New Zealand, complemented by great places to eat and sample the delicious local wines. The house is located within a short walking distance from the main area of Greytown, down a very quiet residential and beautiful road. It is set in the loveliest garden, and although it looks smaller from outside - it is indeed a sizeable house, with 3 bedrooms (1 ensuite), 1 very large bathroom, and a fabulous large living / dining and kitchen. The layout was fabulous! There is also outdoor space, including a beautiful dining area to be utilised. Everything about this house was so well thought out - and it contained everything that you ever needed. The attention to detail was immense. We were in total awe. It was clean, comfortable and felt like a real home - and we had such a lovely time just relaxing there! Although we did not cook, the kitchen was amazing, with a utility room and a pantry! We would have loved to have had such a kitchen where we just moved from! What a beautiful place, and our only mistake was not to spend much more time here.

    I stayed in the really cute gypsy caravan. The weather is getting cooler but the caravan comes with a heater and I was lovely and warm. Comfortable bed, pillows, and quality linen. Showers are hot and good pressure, kitchen was spotless, friendly owners. Location is walking distance to Greytown shops. Have been here before and will be here again!

    We had a great time staying at the Hidden Gem. The rooms are very warm, comfortable and bathroom very clean. Elise is an exceptional cook, her meals were always delicious. Alistair and Elise are the real gems of Hidden Gem. My family and I had the best time sharing delicious meals and listening to Elise and Alastairs were themost hospitable hosts especially with their many entertaining and adventurous journeys. Also ideal is its location, we just walked to the main town center.
