This hotel is perfectly placed on top of a hill overlooking the Balthali Valley with,on a clear day amazing views of the Himalayas! The staff and family,who ran it, were absolutely brilliant! The room was delightful and the food was the best we have had so far travelling in India and Nepal. Great authentic Nepalese cuisine! We were there for Tihar and the family asked to join them for the celebrations, which was very special indeed! They also arranged our trip to Namobuddha! Excellent hotel, lovely family and staff! Just book it!

Shila and her entire family are truly wonderful. They made us feel like part of the family, with such warmth and care. After a fun cooking workshop with Shila and her sister, we made an Israeli breakfast together — they were genuinely moved and excited. Shila helped us with shopping, shared great local tips, and sat with us to explain everything we wanted to know about Nepal.

Wonderful stay at HASERA❤️ Delicious organic food from the garden and good hospitality of the whole family, simple lifestyle,slow but full of authentic and vitality. Everyone was nice and far exceeded our expectations. It was also very cheap and all the food was affordable. The staff were also very friendly and kept checking up if we needed anything else. Above all of this the view of the Himalayas was AMAZING!!

    A good location, slightly out of town but still easy to walk to the old town, bus park, town center and near the interesting triveni ghat. The host gave us a warm welcome offering tea and biscuits on arrival and was friendly and kind during our stay. The breakfast and dinner were good with plenty of food on offer and extra food available. The room is spacious.
