I stayed here for 1 week. I didn't want to leave! The place is amazing, sorrounded by the green . Room are big and clean and the food is delicious. You will feel like at home here, the family will try to provide everything to make you happy. And also they will take you to the jungle safari. What an experience!

The entire team, comprised of dedicated local workers, demonstrated a sincere passion for wildlife conservation.The highlight of my stay was the guided jungle walk with Baba, an exceptionally skilled guide and photographer. His professionalism and ability to capture stunning wildlife moments left me in awe. We would get freshly prepared local Nepali food which was absolutely delicious! They have a wide selection of authentic local food to choose from. If you're in the right season, you can also get to try some fresh local honey! The location of the homestay is great, it is very close to the entrance of the national park. We had a great stay here, and had some incredible wildlife sightings (Rhinos, elephants, tigers, hornbills) thanks to the sharp eyes of Tek Bahadur (fondly called Pappu). Will definitely come to visit again!

An authentic gem on the edge of Bardia National Park! The staff of this family-run lodge is very friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious and based on the vegetables they grow in their own garden, and it is very well located in a quiet area. Anil, who speaks English, French and Hindi, even helped me organise two safari days in the jungle. I really recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and affordable place to stay close to Bardia National Park.

I had a great stay! The guides make their best to meet your fauna & flora watching interests. The food is good, the room is simple but comfortable, and Sonja is a great host. She provides all the assistance you need before and during the stay. If you wanna a nice safari or jungle walk experience in Bardiya, or just a relaxing time in the countryside, go for Bardia Homestay! Highly recommended

The room was large and comfortable with a veranda to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful garden. The garden was lovely and so relaxing, full of flowers, plants and butterflies. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and even included us in their family Tihar celebrations. We really enjoyed the safaris and saw a tiger!

After a long bus drive we were warmly welcomed by the family at Mr. B’s place. We stayed for 3 nights and did a walking safari and two jeep safaris and were lucky to see both tigers and rhinos. Mr. B’s son is the most talented guide we’ve experienced on our trip. Throughout the safari tours he would explain what he was looking and listening for so you always felt like part of the safari from beginning to end. The safaris themselves are worth the stay at Mr. B place and they also charge very fairly for the stay and the safaris. The family were very helpful helping us getting a bus to Pokhara wich completed the stay completely. We had the most amazing and would totally recommend! Sincerely two danish girls

I had the best in Jungle base camp, the hospitality was really good and the activities were amazing. I went with Hukum in the walking safari and into the tree house and they were amazing experiences.

    Great location very near National Park Entrance. Most memorable was meeting the loveliest people, staff and owners, you could hope to meet. Did everything they could to give us, an elderly couple - a great stay. Good safari - forest trek and evening outing. Unbelievable value for money. Unreservedly recommend for a no frills stay that will stick in your memory

    The room was bigger than I expected, never before have I gotten so much space in a nice place, especially for such a low cost, this place had the most space. The water treatment aparatus was an excellent resource for drinking water so my water needs were strongly met. Everyone was very accomodating and I got along well with all of them and I had a perfect dedicated workspace to work on my computer.

    The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. This place is the most affordable in the area with rooms with air conditioning, hot water and mosquito nest, which we loved. The restaurant menu was cheap too compared with other places we had stayed in the area. The staff is very friendly and goes beyond to help you (bought and took us to the bus station when we left).

    This new hotel is a place you shouldn't miss! the price is unbelievably cheap! and the location, especially if you are a birdwatcher, is the best! It is across the river, with very beautiful area and well-designed cottages. You can stay there forever and chill! The staff are very friendly and the owner, Krishna, who is young but experienced guide provides you anything you need.
