Family was so kind and welcoming. Room was big and clean, farm is gorgeous and area is great for walks and hikes. Tons of birds around the farm. Food and coffee was great, spent 5 nights here and plan to return!

This property is hidden gem of the north of Nicaragua! We loved the peace and tranquillity of the suite, and the climate is perfect. Great views of the nearby mountain too. The host went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and was a pleasure to make his acquaintance! He cooked us delicious, healthy, and wonderful food for our stay. I can’t recommend his cooking highly enough.

Very comfortable room, good decoration, nice shower, helpful owner. We couldn’t find vegan food in Esteli but the owner allowed us to use the kitchen to make a meal. 😊

Next to a beautiful forest with trails and many activities (horseback riding, orchid tour, mountain trails). If you like doggos this is your place, they will go with you along the mountain trails. Note this is a resting place not a party spot. The open-air shower might be a first for many but there's privacy and it comes with views to the mountains and hot water.

Felt like home away from home! Alex was so welcoming and speaks English which is super! Safe parking for the bikes, kettle with coffee making ingredients in the room, microwave and dining table and chairs if you want to stay in, location is not glamorous but was safe to walk around to get dinner in the evening.

The farm is an amazing place, far away from the cities it's great for relaxing and getting away from the backpacker superhighway. Really kind people living and working here who are great to chat to There are great tours that you can do. We especially enjoyed riding the horses and walking through the protected cloud Forrest.
