Abdul was very kind and welcoming and we had a lovely stay at Dar Dadicilef. So much so that we extended our time in Chefchaouen. The location is very close to the main square (get dropped off here if catching a taxi from the bus stop). The breakfasts in the morning is delicious and the ambience of the the hostel is very warm and friendly. My partner was also ill with food poisoning on our journey from Fes to Chefchaouen and Abdul was very kind to offer Paracetamol and tea. We would definitely stay here again.

An exceptional place to stay in Chefchaouen and one of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Conveniently located on one of the main streets of the medina, with picturesque views from the top floor, delicious breakfast, cozy, clean and comfortable rooms decorated with taste and charm. Zabir was incredibly helpful. He guided me on how to get to the hotel and arranged wonderful accommodation for my first night when their hot water system failed. The next day, I fell ill and was upgraded to the most beautiful room. That afternoon, I was served delicious Moroccan harira soup, compliments of the hotel, to help me recover. When it was time to leave, Zabir’s brother kindly took me to the bus station free of charge. These people were amazing, and as a solo female traveler, I am truly grateful for their kindness and generosity.

    Very good value for money budget hotel. Clean and very freindly staff and, in a quiet location. Was ideal for my means, just passing through en route to Tangier for the ferry to Spain, as it has it's own off road parking. It was the 2nd time I've stayed there. It's a good 3 miles or so down from Chefchaouen medina but there is parking up there if you have your own vehicle and want to visit. Otherwise you would need to take a taxi. Can sit outside for breakfast and there is a roof terrace.

    The Dar Rafik hotel provided exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Chefchaouen. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were extremely polite and friendly. An excellent Moroccan breakfast was served on the roof terrace. The location was perfect - just a short walk into the centre of the old town, while the Bab Souk itself felt very "real" and had some lovely cafes and eateries which provided an ideal setting to sit and relax.

    Very authentic and colourful hotel with an amazing view from the rooftop terrace! Also there is a super cozy common room beautifully decorated from where you can overlook the whole city of Chefchaouen while enjoying your cup of tea. It's very clean and the staff is friendly. Location is ideal to explore the town. There was just a tiny window in our room but that's just part of the old buildings. Anyways the view from the rooftop and common room makes up for this. We loved it here :)
