Such a peaceful, beautiful setting and the accomodation and food was superb for a camp setting, 5 star dining under the trees and stars. Staff were delightful and so happy to assist with anything and their knowledge of the area and its flora & fauna were exceptional. Highly recommend!!

I loved this place. It is a bit 'in the wild' but that is the beauty of it - it is right next to the park and there are lots of animals (especially birds) to see. The owner was very friendly and arranged pick-up for me and bought some curd and treacle to try. He also played pool with me (yes, there is a large and well kept pool table there.) As it was quiet when I was there he kindly gave me a better room for the same price. He also owns riverside cabanas which I recommend staying at.# Nearby is a beautiful beach that looks prehistoric and you can walk along the sand dunes.

Mamba Yala was one of the most spectacular and unforgettable stays of my trip. The location, right in the middle of the jungle, is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by wildlife made the experience truly special. The accommodation itself was stunning: a beautiful treehouse-style cabana with a private pool, an open-air bathroom, and a panoramic terrace on top of the treehouse – perfect for relaxing, stargazing, or just enjoying the jungle views. The staff went above and beyond and even prepared a spectacular dinner for us at their own expense, making the stay truly memorable. Location in jungle few km outside Kataragama, Beautiful Romantic Naturel Clay House quiet place - very clean big room, nice fancy bathroom separate also clean and nice design. They've made everything for nature products wich is wonderfull. The Lady Host gives very good service hospitality she is kind friendly helpfull. Lasanthe (husband) has tuktuk and drive you in very friendly way. I like to come again and reccommend high on the list. From Lady I got some tea and fruits

It's a very nice place in a slightly isolated area, which we really liked. The building looks beautiful both outside and inside. It's very clean, the rooms are large. The people who manage the place are very kind, they made us a very tasty meal. I recommend this place.
