our 2 nights here have been so comfortable: the whole family has installes comfortable rooms with AC, hot water, amenities such as bath products and fridge/hit drinks bar for each room. this is not so common in SL so thats 1 thing we enjoyed for a very reasonnable price. but really, the best part has been to be welcomed so warmly by our hosts, explain if everything, making sure we have everything we need, Laurine around with the dogs, the kids, having delicious dinners and breakfasts with organic products coming from their farming. they organized our day in Wilpattu with an EXCELLENT guide, Sandaman. je went above and beyond to make sure that we could make the most out of our visit, we got to observe every animal in the area : léopards, bears, elephants, crocodiles, many birds, turtles, monkeys and small mamals. you need a bit of luck ofc, but it REALLY helps to be with someone who knows the park like their pocket and make sure you just enjoy the ride 💕 THANK YOU 🐘

Our stay at Wild Wadi Wilpattu was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and incredible service. We had the opportunity to embark on two incredible safaris with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The wildlife safari was absolutely breathtaking—we were lucky enough to spot leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and so much more in their natural habitat. The boat trip through the mangroves and lagoon was equally magical, offering stunning views and an up-close encounter with Sri Lanka’s diverse ecosystem. The food was simply outstanding—authentic Sri Lankan cuisine at its finest! Both breakfast and dinner were full of flavour, freshly prepared, and truly showcased the best of local dishes. The accommodation was comfortable, well-equipped, and immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and wildlife, was an unforgettable experience. It felt like a true escape into the heart of Sri Lanka’s wilderness. What truly made our stay so special was the wonderful staff and the incredibly kind owner, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Their passion for hospitality and wildlife made us feel right at home. And last but not least—the absolute star of our stay was Duan, the owner’s young puppy. He is, without a doubt, the most adorable and charming little dog we’ve ever met! had a great time here. The hosts were kind and demonstrated true Sri Lankan hospitality. It’s peaceful and has lots of interesting things to see around it. loads of birds and some very loud croaking frogs. A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

This was an amazing stay! We stayed in the suite and it was amazing. The room is very good but what makes this place special is the staff. They are so friendly, helping with everything and making sure that your trip is perfect! We have already travelled a lot of places but this is by far the best stay that we ever had!

This is quite simply an exceptional hotel, made so not only by our beautiful room and the surroundings, but by Mark and the team of people who made our stay so special. This is one we will always remember for being unique and idylic. Our kayak on the lake with Ravi was fantastic and Ravi's knowledge about the wildlife was exceptional. The whole team were there at 4.30am to ensure we had everything we could possibly ask for before our early morning safari. I can not praise our stay highly enough and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you Mark and everyone who made our stay so very perfect.

Loved this place it was rustic but perfect for our Wilpattu adventure. Rooms were nice enough although Ac wasn’t fab. Staff were helpful would stay again.
