Max and his wife are just great hosts, very helpful in every way. The location is great, you are really right on the beach, which is absolutely not busy, for days you don't see any tourist ever. Along with that comes that there is no restaurant nearby, but Max might lend you his bycicle, and in 5 minutes you are there. You can also ask Max, they cook for you.

Asiri and all the team were very welcoming. They brought us wet towels and juices when we arrived. The rooms are amazing (super comfortable bed, nice bathroom, hot water, A/C working perfectly) and the pool area is also great. A small paradise not too far from Negombo center (a tuktuk ride away), but that proportioned us the best conditions to relax after such a long flight. The dinner was okay. Breakfast was very good. Thank you! I super recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed the company of the hosts Sonja and Bernard. They made excellent food and helped us out whenever we needed it. A great place to start your trip in Sri Lanka. The pool was well needed in the sun, and the birds and flying foxes at night made for exceptional entertainment. We loved the ro oms and the beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here!

It's a great place to start or end your stay in beautiful Sri Lanka. Only 30 minutes away from the busy airport, you arrive through a beautiful alley of mangrove trees to be greeted by the great team of Ging Oya. Imasha, Romesh, Nilantha and all the other staff make you feel right at home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The pool is clean, large and a nice way to cool down. If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!

The host is a wonderful and very very helpful person. She also has a big heart and made us feel very welcomed and like being at home. She was up waiting for us till 3am to ensure we got to the hotel all good. She arranged an airport pickup at the very last minute, and kept in touch till we got the taxi. She also gavel us very essential and useful tips on anything we asked. Had it not been for her, we might not be having this wonderful experience in this beautiful country. Please stay a night here, ask about all the ins and outs from a local and have a fantastic experience; meet the locals from day one and not people who are going to ruin your experience.

Regal Rivera Villa is a new concept, bringing comfort and abundant personal space while retaining the usual hotel features. The place is spruced up near and tidy, amenities were of hotel standards, and there is lots of space in the villa, indoors and outdoors. What sets it apart is the service. Do check out the fish therapy tank at the back of the villa for some relaxing therapeutic time with fishes nibbling at your feet. Due to the small number of rooms, we get personalized treatment. The chief butler, Nishanta, picked us from the airport and always provided on-the-dot service. The head chef, Fernando, who previously cooked in the UK whipped excellent Sri Lankan and international dishes. The Sri Lankan breakfast was really really hearty- well done! Lastly, Kesavan the housekeeper always giving his sincere toothy smile is always around just to make our day at Regal more comfortable and enjoyable.

One bedroom villa was spacious and very clean. River view is second to none. Also this place is kids friendly and swimming pool is beautiful. Main highlight is dinner and breakfast. It’s very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Guest room with their own bathroom with shower. Very nice family, the woman cooks great dinner and a good breakfast with all the wishes. The air conditioning works well, clean room + bathroom with warm water. Very comfortable and clean bed. The owners have many tips and are happy to help you.

    The place was very unique. Simply one of the most outstanding places with much more freedom to spend your time. Staff is very helpful indeed. Sea view with sound of the waves and wind add up some aesthetic flavour to the enjoyment. Everything was fine for the budget and obviously with no worries.

    The location is perfect for a budget beach experience and the hosts do everything possible to welcome you and help. I particularly enjoyed my conversations with Max. He is a very hands on person with a lot of practical experience how things work in Sri Lanka.
