This was a special stay for us. The staff went above and beyond for us and were constantly so warm, friendly, generous and lovely. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer and spent more time in the accommodation and with the staff. The facilities and space were extremely lovely, beautiful and very clean. The view from the room was absolutely stunning. The property offers two types of rooms: one with a balcony and one without balcony but an extended front view. During our extended stay, we had the opportunity to experience both. Both rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and featured king-sized beds that were extremely comfortable. The wooden chairs and tables added a charming touch, and the bathrooms were modern and well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was the host, Susantha. He is a genuinely kind and helpful person, always eager to assist with any needs. Beyond that, he’s an excellent cook! I highly recommend trying both breakfast and dinner—he’s happy to customize dishes to suit your preferences. Conveniently, there’s a grocery store right outside the property, along with a few nearby cafés. For even more options, the main market is just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away. If you enjoy outdoor activities, there are also several hiking spots in the area.

The place is amazing in every single way. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Outstanding views and very quiet area, just 15 mins away from the city centre by tuk tuk. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the cooking class with Chef Janith. He is not only a talented chef but also a wonderful teacher. With great patience and passion, he guided us through each step of preparing a traditional Sri Lankan meal, sharing stories, tips, and local knowledge along the way. The setup was perfect, and the food we created was absolutely delicious. I left Kandy Living not just with amazing memories, but with new cooking skills, a deeper appreciation for Sri Lankan culture, and the feeling of having been truly cared for.
