Our host was incredibly hospitable and went out of his way to meet our every want and need. He drove us and picked us up, suggested activities, and helped us out in an emergency when we needed to go to the local hospital. The rooms boast amazing views of the jungle, which is full of fireflies at night. They also have a projector so you can stream entertainment of your choice. 10/10 I strongly recommend Fern Hill cabins for your stay in Ella.

Naadhika and her family were the perfect hosts. Absolutely polite, accommodative and helpful. Naadhika's mother made us delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners. We were tired of eating outside food during our trip, so their food was a good healthy break for us. Naadhika's mom is an awesome cook. Their homestay was probably the best experience we had amongst the six other homestays we stayed during our two week trip. We rented their scooter for two days which they offered at a lower price than other commercial places. They even accommodated our request to extend our stay by one day at the last minute and modified their other bookings. Naadhika has a very pleasant personality and is always smiling and her mother is a lovely and sweet lady. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable stay, and if this place is available, please book it right away. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if I ever visit Ella.

We had the best stay at Ella Blue Heaven, the location is wonderful and one of the few who has a Waterfall view on this road. The room was cozy, the owners kind and generous, we would absolutely recommend. Waking up in the morning with such a sight was incredible!

What a stunning location and such a friendly and kind family! The rooms are absolutely stunning and the location genuinely unbeatable. You do have to be prepared to walk up and down a large flight of stairs to benefit from that beauty but it is totally worth it. The hosting family were extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to any traveller looking for somewhere off the beaten track!

It is a new room. It looks nice and it is a comfortable room. The breakfast is great!!!! Best I had in Sri Lanka. There is a shortcut road to the centre. Its a ten minute walk. The owner is very helpful and friendly.

This is a real gem. We booked the family room and the double room which were both clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The view is just incredible and so relaxing. The scenery in the morning is just amazing when you see and hear all the surroundings waking up. From the start, we were welcome with such a nice friendly atmosphere and they went over their duty to make us happy. We all absolutely loved it and will come back. The owner and his family are super. The room is exactly as shown in the pictures. Spacious, modern and super clean. Bed is very comfortable and morning is served on the balcony. Wifi is also great. It is on the main road but completely away for the noisy part of Ella. Located next to the paths that lead either to nine arch bridge or the little Adam’s peak. Would happily stay again and already recommended the place to others
