We had a lovely stay at Sam's, he was extremely lovely and his beautiful daughters were very helpful and warm. The room was spacious, all the surfaces were sparkling and the terrace was magnificient with a view over the beach which is at your doorstep. Sam prepared rich and yummy breakfast during our stay and it was different everyday :) The neighbourhood feels very safe and you have the vibe that the locals look after you Would like to come again for sure. If you wanna go to Hiriketya which I highly recommend, you can walk for 7 min from the room to the main street and you will find the famous Sri lankan buses that can take you there. For other destinations, you can take a tuktuk to Matara's bus stand (15 min) where many buses can take you in no time. We took the bus from Matara to Galle, Mirissa and even Ella.

This is a well located new hotel and we had a very good experience with this place. The room was clean, de food was really amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. They played with my daughter and take care of her during we had breakfast. The beach and the place is quiet, the Lighthouse area and the sunrise is so wonderfull. The location is not far from the famous and busy beaches for both directions. For example with taxi we could go to Mirissa beach and the Coconut Hill for around 25-35 minutes. If you are looking for a peacefull place as a starting point with a hotel which worth the money because of its service, location and people you can find it in here.

Very clean place very beautiful garden the staff was very sweet and kind i got a really nice breakfast with great fresh fruits i also had dinner here rice and curry was especially good also talalla beach is gorgeous within 5 to 7 minute walk!!! Perfect stay. We fell in love with the place. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and had the best sea view. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food is a m a z i n g by any standard. Great yoga classes as well to start the day. We loved the easy access to the beach and to the surf point. We will definitely come again. Feels like home away from home ❤️

We absolutely loved it. The guy from the staff who took care of us was very thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, with the views on the beach and turtles peaking their heads, what else could you wish for??

Fantastic time on superb location with most kind host family. It is situated just at the iconic Dondra Light house, next to the pleasant beach and has its own beach bar with hanging net over the water. Place is not hard to acces. The room is fresh and tasty, bed is comfy. Bathroom is clean, mine (upper apartment) had direct lighthouse view with amazing morning and evening parrot chirps. Room has beach and garden view. Hosts are heartwarmingly nice and will help you with every wish. They have cooked me delicious authentic Srilankan cuisine, breakfasts at the beach bar were unforgettable. Absolutely recommended and I wish I will come again.
