Nice lighting (which means it is not bright white lights). Games, hammocks. Just the best place in Sri Lanka to stay for a few days. Lovely river for a swim.

Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. Sri LankaAmazing experience during my stay in Ella. Beautiful view from the balcony, and amazing hosts. You could order meals from them as well. Very good local food. The hosts are very kind and caring. They even helped me with getting a tuk tuk to one of the locations I wanted to visit. Right behind the property, there is a bit of a hike you could do, and you could have an amazing view of the whole area. The hosts accompanied me all the way up there to get some photos. Well kept place with all the required facilities. Two large beds, bunk bed style! Highly recommended.

A perfect private place with nice river to cool down. The caretaker makes the best breakfast and dinners. It was very clean, warm shower, outside hammocks. And the Yala North gate is close by for safari in the less crowded part of Yala. Really a gem!

What an amazing experience and such a beautiful Homestay one of the highlights in our Sr Lanka Tour. Host and his family very welcoming with excellent food and service. Room very clean and comfortable. Great knowledge of the area and its wildlife.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The property is set in the countryside and there's only one room, which guarantees complete peace and quiet. The room is well furnished and clean. We also really enjoyed the outside area with the hammocks. I think the highlight of our stay was the dinner & breakfast, the food was just so fresh and tasty. I can really recommend to stay here, ideally maybe several days

Lovely accomodation in a natural and peaceful setting. It was very clean, and the host was nice and attentive. The food was also exceptional and some of the best we had in all of Sri Lanka. I would highly recommend this spot!

The caretaker (sujeewa) was amazing. The food was all fantastic, and the location is incredibly calming. Lots of wildlife, loads of beautiful birds. Our favourite place in SriLanka so far. Would definitely recommend!

Bhagya was the perfect host. His accommodation is ideal for those who like a genuine home stay in a beautiful natural environment. The home cooked food from his mum was excellent. Bhagya looked after us and showed us around the local area. We also booked a safari into Yala national park with Bhagya and were very lucky to see lots of wild life including 2 leopards- thanks to his keen eyesight. Over all an excellent 3 night stay.

Lovely peaceful cabin near the national park. Bhagya is a great host and the accommodation is ideal. The vain is private and comes with kitchenette loaded with snacks and cold drinks (even beer) and a washing machine for your clothes!
The location is next to the national park, making it perfect for a safari trip.
The food prepared by Bhagya’s mum is some of the best I’ve had in a two week trip in Sri Lanka!

Very welcoming host who took us for a drive on his jeep to see the elephants on the day we arrived. Mama makes the best food! And the safari drive into the park was worth it. Would definitely recommend! Very homely location on a farm
