Location was perfect for all BENTOTA & surrounding activities. The beach was just across the river for which the owner provided a free boat service. The property was very well maintained, clean & comfortable. The deck facing the river was the icing on the cake. Owner couple were so friendly & accomodating. The breakfast was too good & fresh. Amber house also has a great menu for meals. The swimming pool was cool & clean.

cosy but spacious ac’d rooms with a flower flanked balcony. very clean facility in general including a groomed garden entrance. the hosts greeted us very warmly with flower necklace and a coconut welcome drink. the breakfast was also great and actually way too much but a takeaway bag was already prepared. in general the atmosphere stayed as good, when we arrived and we’ve also been driven to and picked up from a nearby restaurant.

An ideal place to spend 3 nights. Very near the beach, multiple restaurants, local shops and snack bars. The property itself is extremely well kept by Jaya. I loved eating his freshly grown fruit for breakfast, and he's really interesting and helpful, particularly with local knowledge. I had a wonderful stay at River Breeze Villa! The location is perfect if you're looking to escape the noise and crowds—tucked away from the busy town of Bentota, it offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature. The highlight of my stay was definitely the excellent breakfast served each morning. Fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, it was the perfect way to start the day. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. The villa itself is charming, clean, and well-maintained, with a lovely view of the river and a gentle breeze that lives up to the name. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with great food and warm hospitality, River Breeze Villa is the place to be.     If you're looking for a hotel Sri Lanka for some rest and relaxation, Villa Thamburu is ideal! The location is great offering easy access to a lovely, quiet beach. The staff great too. All were incredibly polite, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile for us. The food was also a highlight. I can't imagine anywhere else in Bentota could match it. The hotel itself was beautiful too!

    Prianthi and Raj were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the location so close to the beach, a few restaurants (Happy Garden!) and the train station was ideal. And the breakfast was really lovely. I'd definitely recommend the place.
