Great location at Misato station on the Musashino line, one stop from Shin-Misato Lalaport Shopping Center, IKEA and Costco. Also one stop away to change to Tsukuba Express. Toyoko Inn hotels provide breakfast for everyone included in the room price. The front staff were exceptional, even though each day it was a different person, they all greeted the guests with a smile and genuine kindness and warmth.

The living areas were clean, with linens and towels already in place when we arrived. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, kettle) and an in‑suite washing machine let us cook breakfast and travel light. Fast free Wi‑Fi plus the rare bonus of free on‑site parking (for small car) kept logistics completely hassle‑free. While the apartment sits in Katsushika—about a seven‑minute walk from Kanamachi Station on the JR Joban Line—the quiet residential setting felt like a welcome escape from downtown crowds.

Where do I start? This was a dream come true! A whole house to ourselves, very spacious, cute, and most importantly - pandas! Every little detail was perfect. The pandas were even on the light switches! The kitchen had an under-table heating which was mind-blowing to us. Apart from that, the host made sure we gave everything, and I mean EVERYTHING we needed - toothbrushes, shower caps, combs, plenty of hangers, a washing machine, a bathtub, a fully functioning kitchen (with pandas on the bowls and cups!), two toilets, flip flops with pandas… Even shutters for w the windows to make the whole place dark and quiet at night. I honestly I can’t think of anything that’s missing. The host is downstairs in the bubble tea cafe all the time and we even got some bubble tea drinks couple times (they were delicious!). It was definitely our favourite place to stay during our 3-week trip across Japan. It wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was a whole experience, we felt like it was our home for a couple nights. It was a perfect balance between traditional house and a cute hotel, can’t recommend it enough. We have to come back!

    Very good value for money. Although bit far away from city centre but totally acceptable (30 mins JR). But very close to Misato-chuo station. The space was acceptable, everything clean and tidy. Nice park (and restaurants) nearby, the view, the vibes, are very good. Very convenience location though. The front staff were helpful (even changing the room).

    Very ideal for a quiet getaway and very close to all the amenities you need. Could not park my campervan in their sheltered carpark, but they have open space carparks around which charge a flat rate of 500yen per night. Check-in was via a kiosk which had English instructions. Room size was decent and breakfast was provided as well! It is also in a very dog friendly town, where many people own dogs.

    All OK. It was little away of city center, but it was really good connection to centrum - f.e. Akihabara, and also for us it was good location, because our plan visit City Tsukuba (EXPO center & JAXA).

    This is probably the best Japanese business hotel I have used in many years. The room is pretty standard, as most are, but everything else is exceptional. A beautiful view, incredibly friendly and kind staff, a quiet location that still has many shops and restaurants on the doorstep, and a minute's walk from Misatochou station. Then the lovely breakfast buffet every morning and the incredible cleanliness! If you want a simple hotel experience where everything is done well and with a good atmosphere, this hotel is brilliant.
