Really helpful front desk staff. I forgot an item and they helped notify me and ship after I left. We also had a small problem with the new tatami smell and they helped us freshen the room so that it didn’t bother me again. Very comfortable beds and enjoyed relaxing on the tatami after a long day.

Location! Location! Location! Easy underground access and connections to and from major Kyoto subway lines was as the japanese waould say is 'Saiko!' You are jam smack in the middle of everything especially the major japanese shopping malls to the very center of the major attractions that the culture rich city of Kyoto has to offer. Staying for four nights was not enough to be honest. Would definitely come back

The hotel is near the Toji Station (and not far from the Kyoto Station). It's very convenient. Plus, near there are: a very good restaurant, a konbini, a KCF, a Book-Off and the Toji Temple. The room and the breakfast were perfect. And the staff is very kind and responsive. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

My parents both loved the hotel, and said they would stay here again when they visit Kyoto! Hotel facilities were outstanding, and the hotel is right beside a JR station that takes you directly to Kyoto station (just one stop away). Overall pretty centrally located, but a bit far if you mostly want to be in the Higashiyama/Gion area.
