- the host Cristiana is super nice, helpful and made my stay special - the room and overall building is renovated, equipped, furnished and decorated with love and good taste - lovely breakfast at what time you want and always with fresh cake and you can help yourself with scrambled eggs (this is quite special for a B&B) - parking spot in front of the house

This hotel held an extraordinary good standard with an eye for the details. It was close to the bus - and train station and therefore very convenient to us. The local bus brought us up to the old town in 10 minutes. The wellness area was brilliant The breakfast was extraordinary good. Fresh fruits, lovely eggs and fresh bread, plus!

I was here with my wife for about a week in June. The apartment (called Lotto) is super clean and tastefully designed, with modern appliances and a modern bathroom. It is in a building adjacent to the one that has the reception in it and one of Mimmo's three eateries, which range from a cafe to a white-tablecloth restaurant, and the food is amazing in all of these. (Also you get a 10% discount if you're a Locanda guest. All the staff without exception are very friendly and courteous and will help you with anything you need. This is true also of the owner himself. The Locanda and restaurants is the fruit of a hard-working family's labor - you can get a booklet about the family history. The windows have the typical Italian shutters, so almost no light gets in the morning, in case you want to sleep in. It should be added that Bergamo itself is a magnificent surprise, one of our favourites in all of Italy.

Our stay here was definitely a plus. This place is a must if you love rich Italian interiors with a touch of modernity. Very comfortable bed, beautiful stone bathroom, great view from the window to the small square and lovely hosts. All this in the center of Citta Alta, yet the nights were peaceful here. We had a wonderful stay in Bergamo! We rented three apartments with friends and everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect – just a few minutes’ walk from the train station, about 10 minutes to the funicular to Città Alta, and very close to the main shopping street and attractions. The apartments are new, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The owner, Ms. Rita, was amazing – very responsive, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return when visiting Bergamo!

    Staying at this place felt like stepping back in time or staying in a living museum. The building, which dates back over 300 years, is filled with antique furniture and decorations from bygone eras, creating a truly unique atmosphere. The accommodation was very clean, and all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay were provided. The host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delicious, fresh homemade pie.

    Cristiana, the owner, is a very friendly and generous person! On arrival, she offered us spaghetti jsut because the kids were tired and hungry! Very beautiful and spacious rooms in a magnificent late 17th-century villa which has been renovated without losing its authentic character. The location is perfect. Everything was awesome, and we will surely come back!

    The quiet, if difficult location in the smll hillside village of Volpera. Furnishings are quaint and very rustic but not elegant.
