La Rombaia is a lovely agriturismo, everything is clean and well taken care of. The apartments are furnished functionally and with taste. It felt like home. The owners were welcoming and we enjoyed having the opportunity of a courtesy visit to the awesome collection of military vehicles and the stories around them. We left with nice memories and a bottle of La Rombaia's excellent olive oil.

Stunning location in a beautiful setting.. lovely staff.. classy well thought out design..comfy beds..you could choose to sit by the pool or walk just 15 metres to the beach! Nice breakfast then tea and cake in the afternoon plus an honesty bar… There are a couple of restaurants just a short walk away or the staff will take you in a golf buggy … owing to its secluded location the parking is slightly away from the property where they pick you up with your luggage and take you through the security gates along the track through the pines ..all amenities in the rooms.. coffee machine,smart TV..

The garden was beautiful, and the pool was absolutely top-notch. Our apartment was just a minute from the pool. Our first impression was a bit strange – walking through a gardening center – but in the end, it turned out great. Privacy and a lovely garden. Shops and beaches are only accessible by car, but the nearest beach is just 5 minutes away. In mid-July, there were no crowds at all. Definitely worth visiting Castiglione, and you can also go to Piombino and from there take a trip to Elba. By car and ferry: 40 minutes + 40 minutes. We had great weather – no scorching heat. I would just recommend improving the check-in and check-out process a bit to make it smoother. Let me know if you want a more formal or casual version!

This place is magical!! We loved the location nestled in a gorgeous area, we loved the style and comfort of the rooms. Breakfast was great and included fresh baked goods, great cheeses and cereals. Free use of excellent bicycles allowed us to explore the area. Easy access to beautiful beaches and great restaurants.
