A pleasant stay, a large swimming pool and a lake right next to it. The cottages are spacious and clean, well equipped – kitchenware, deckchairs, terrace furniture. The resort is very clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff. A huge plus is the free charging station for electric cars.

Villa Sofia is the perfect place for exploring Lake Maggiore. Situated in the small and quiet town of Baveno, it is a several minutes drive from the lake and Stresa. The villa itself is very elegant and comfortable, with a nice garden and beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding mountains. Manuela, our host, was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend Villa Sofia.

Beautiful and charming apartment with a great view.It has all the appliances that you may need, and it is obvious that it is decorated with a lot of love and personal touch.Very friendly and assisting hosts - from stocking up the fridge with water, wine, pasta, pesto, sweets, trough recommending local restaurants, attractions and when to attend them to waking up in 6 in the morning to help you start your car and show you the way to the nearest autoshop for buying a new battery. If you want to explore the beautiful Lago Maggiore, you should strongly consider this place for your stay.
