We loved our stay in this Guesthouse a lot. We stayed only one night but would love to stay longer. The area is very quiet and the room we stayed in had a spectacular view (we were lucky to watch the best Aurora from our bed 😀).The breakfast was delicious with a good coffee as well. We really recommend to stay here.

What a wonderfull place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are big and comfortable, the beds were really really comfortable! The owner is such a nice and friendly gentleman. What a pleasure it was to meet him! The kitchen is nice and big and you can use anything you need. In the fridge was everything you need for breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this lodge to anybody!

We stayed in the apartment and it was lovely and well-appointed. The little patio area in front was so nice since we were blessed with a beautiful day. Sitting outside with a coffee and watching and listening to the birds in the meadow right outside was delightful. We had been in Bakkagerdi earlier in the evening to view the puffins (1 million stars/10 on that experience) and this was the perfect place to spend the night, since it was less than an hour from there but also gave us a little bit of a head start on our clockwise ring road journey for the next day's travels.

Quiet location close to egilstadir. Coffee available at the hostel common room that is part of the same thing. We had the apartment with 4 bedrooms and a large living room.

Nice cottage in a great location. We arrived late in the evening and it was warm inside and the lights were on so it was very easy to find. That was a great welcome and we enjoyed our stay very much, we had everything we needed.

The room was a bit cold in the evening, but got warm over night. One window leaked a bit of air, dropping cool air down on the bed, so I stuffed a pillow up in the window, for more isolation. In the morning I felt i needed more AIR, so I just removed the pillow. =D There were extra blankets, to keep me warm. The shower was good, warm water came fast. The place had a fridge, which is always a plus, and especially here, as you have to make your own breakfast.

The best accommodation at our Iceland trip!!! The apartment is beautifully and comfortably furnished! The kitchen is well-equipped, clean, and there were plenty of spices and even delicious honey. The view was beautiful to a lovely river with many beautiful birds. The owner, Tinna, is super nice and helpful! She rescued our stocked car from the snow storm! Thanks for your amazing help :)
