Wonderful facilities, lots of things to do, there’s a beautiful river and hot tubs, the rooms have a microwave and a mini fridge. We got to see the Northern Lights and there was a hill near our room where there was no artificial light. Truly amazing

Fjola and Jon were outstanding hosts. Our apartment on their farm was a haven for our stay near Borgarnes. Views of the surrounding fields were great, and such a nice change from city hotels. The apartment had everything we needed, including a filter coffee maker. The weather turned overnight, and roads were closed the next morning. Fjola kindly informed us of this and offered that we could stay longer, which was very generous.

Super nice surroundings. The staff were so friendly and recommended nice things to do for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we got nice bathrobes. Breakfast had eggs, bacon warm bread and all kinds of other things. Coffee was good. Over all we had a super good stay here ☺️

Even after reading all the previous, raving reviews, we were still very positively surprised - the apartment really has more than everything we could possibly need. Another “magical” plus, even with self-check in & out (by definition cold and person-less), Lucy somehow made it have a human touch.
