The place was beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was really clean and we loved the interior design. The location was a good stop on the way to Vik so all in all we had a really good experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about our stay at Midgard. If we come back this way I will book at least a two night stay in the same family room. The place is exceptionally well kept, the staff is helpful and friendly, the breakfast is better than most and the restaurant dishes we tried were absolutely delicious. I will book a two night stay so I can enjoy the sauna, the hot tub and sample other dishes from the menu :). The location is perfect for exploring the Golden Circle and a few other attractions in the south of Iceland.

Hateigi 2 is a great location to explore the Southern area. Veronique is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good value for money. Ideal for family stay. Reykjavik is about 90 min drive, and similar to Vik going the other way. All Golden Circle attractions in reach also.

    A very clean and comfortable accommodation. We stayed in the family room with a private bathroom and it was exactly as in the photos. You can tell the owners take pride in what they do. Large, extremely well equipped kitchen and very good breakfast.

    Amazing location with beautiful views. Own private cabin but with access to the main guest house if needed. We'll equipped kitchen, comfortable double bed, and sofa bed. Cabin was very warm and cosy. Would 100% stay again.

    Very nice guesthouse with lots of space, a very big fully equipped kitchen and a nice room woth lots of tables for eating and to meet the other travelers. The room was very nice and comfortable, the bathroom freshly renovated and very clean. We would come here again.

    Quiet location, good to watch northern light. Good value for money cuz i remember it was the cheapest stay during our 2wk Iceland drip. Very practical kitchen, basically you got everything you need for dinner and breakfast. The lady is very friendly and helpful, sometimes she might not be there but just make a quick call with the phone on the table and she will be here right away.
